Being Girls (March 3)

We let the girls pick out a new toy from the store and Keira picked out a makeup/hair styling set and hallie picked out an ice cream set. They sat around before bed just being girls....doing hair and nails, putting on makeup, and eating ice cream.

Church at Grandma's House (Feb. 20)

Jason went up to see his parents after getting news that his dad would be passing away soon. He forgot to bring clothes for church so Grandma ran to Idaho Youth Ranch to pick up something she could wear. Sunday morning came around and Keira went and put on her skirt except she thought it was some kind of dress.

Bad Idea (Feb. 14)

So, I had some flour that I was going to throw out because it was too old, but then I decided I'd let the girls play with it for a while. It started out with just flour in a bowl then I thought they would have more fun if I put a little water in it so they could act like they were doing bread. They had a blast with it and Keira still asks me if they can do it again, but it took me FOREVER to clean up. It won't be happening again.

The Witch (Feb. 11)

Jason made a witch when he was little and wanted to do it with the girls. They peeled an apple and let it dry out and then drank some soda out of a bottle for the body. Then they found different household items to finish her off

Down the Stairs (February 9 2011)

This is how Hallie learned to go down the stairs and she is cookin. For a while I would flip out and run over to the stairs because I thought she was falling down them, but soon it became a common noise for us to hear.

Keira tried to doing, but she is pretty slow. I would think it hurts a little, but it can't be too bad because they keep doing it.

Little Friend's Birthday Party (February 9, 2011)

I dropped Keira off at a birthday party. She got a little invitation in the mail and was extremely excited to go. When I got her back, she had had a blast, was a bit messy, and had a goody bag she was excited about. 

Sara's Birthday (Feb. 6, 2011)

This was my birthday cake. Jason got it for me...

Of course, I had to do cake with no hands and Keira had fun pushing my face in it.

Then I had to try to get it out of my nose YUCK!



Winter Activites (February 2-4)

Here are some of the winter activities we did....maracas

 Hallie finger painted for the first time...

 I made a throwing game for them out of a diaper box, tupperware, tape, and a marker. Then we grabbed various balls around the house that would fit the tupperware.

 Keira started drawing her people different...this is the next step for kids when they draw pictures...to draw a big circle with all of their body parts coming from it. The next step will be to draw stick figures. She loves to draw and I love all these little pictures she has been drawing.

Yucky Teeth (January 22)

Jason likes to find little things like this....it usually is something he remembers having when he was little.

Potty Time ( January 13)

Hallie has been using the potty from time to time....this is her first time. Good job baby....I may get a little brave and do potty training next week. We'll see how she takes her shots on Monday before I decide for sure.

Burritos (January 4th)

My mom gave us some mattresses that she was getting rid of....so before we got rid of our old ones we used them to roll up some burritos

The girls like their new mattresses...thanks mom.

Christmas

The girls left out their cookies and Santa left them a letter.

We spent a little time at our house.....

 And then went over to open presents with family.

This by far is probably the most used present...a harmonica

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve, we went over to Jason's sister's house and had a Bethlehem dinner. We put on headdresses, turned off lights, and ate foods that they would have eaten during the time of Christ.

 After dinner, we acted out the navity. Keira was Mary. She rode a donkey (cousin Carson) with the help of Joseph (cousin Jason), and held baby Jesus (cousin Weston).

 Then they opened a present.....hmmmm I wonder what was inside....NEW JAMMIES!
