Hallie Sitting

Hallie started sitting this past week. She does pretty well, but far from being a pro. We hover still as she practices. Keira and her were playing today and Keira had no idea that she saved her from falling over. She was merely thinking Hallie your crowding me...get off. Hallie's defense is lick lick.

Naps and Moving

So I decided that naps and moving doesn't work well with Keira. We moved out of our apartment October 31st. There were four days of heavy packing and cleaning (thanks to my mom being there, those four days, we actually got most everything done before leaving). This is the only apartment that Keira ever really remembered, but she hadn't been really bothered by anything until the last day...most everything was gone. We tried to put her down for nap in her empty room. Usually she doesn't put up a fuss about going to bed, but my mom went in to check on her when she was yelling hysterically POOPY! She had pooped her pants. Her legs were spread as far apart as possible (pooping her pants doesn't happen and it made her really upset on top of everything else that was going on). Clean up was easy and back to bed she went. Jason got a little worried when she was hysterical again. He went to check on her and this is what he saw. Keira had taken off all of her clothes, laid them in a pile, hung them over the edge neatly, and stood there crying. I don't know how she could stand it...we had the door open several hours that day and it was probably about 60 degrees in there. It must not have bothered her that much because she did it twice. Then finally silence...she went to sleep.

Halloween

Hallie was a pumpkin this year for Halloween and Keira was a fairy. My sister made a tutu for Keira last year (she did such a good job) and Keira loved wearing everything. We moved on Halloween, but she went the day before to get her candy at our ward Halloween party. I let her ride out to Meridian with her bucket and caught her twice eating her frootie tooties, the wrapper and all. I looked back at her in my rearview mirror after hearing her say MM MMMMMMMM and noticed her holding on the one wrapped end with the rest half missing. It was all the same to her...I guess.

Carving Pumpkins

Keira helped carve pumpkins this year. Half of the time she spent crying and the other half she spent having fun. She got to color and cut on the pumpkins, but when we put the candle in, lite them, and then turned out the lights she was horrified again.

A Little On The Bored Side

With trying to get everything ready for us to move, Keira has been getting really bored and as a result she has been into a lot more than usual. While I was washing a stain out of one of Keira's shirts, I noticed it was a little too quiet. So I went to look to see what Keira was doing. My bedroom was the first place to look, but as I was heading there I heard a little rustle in the hallway closet. I thought no way did she get in there and to my suprise when I opened the door, sure enough, there she was wedged in between the wall and the stroller. She had found a new hiding place.

Boise Here We Come

We are moving to Boise at the end of this month...we go tomorrow to look for apartments again. Hopefully this trip will prove to be more helpful than the last (last time the apartments were pretty bad, to say the least the appliances were so old I, Sara 5.5 1/2, was taller than the fridge).

Little Nuturer

At Grandma and Grandpa Pyfer's house Keira is always loving on these dolls. She wraps them up in her blanket, totes them around, and snuggles them as she rocks them in the glider.

Community Car

At our apartment there is some kind of unspoken rule. If a toy is outside it is fair game. There is one toy in particular that Keira is in love with...a little yellow and red car.

Temple to Temple Relay

Jason ran the temple to temple relay Saturday. It was from the Idaho Falls Temple to the Rexburg Temple. There were four members in his team and he ran 8.6 miles.

Growing Up So Fast

Almost three weeks ago, I took on the challenge of potty training Keira. Two kids in diapers was a little too much for my sanity. I was a little apprehensive at first because I thought she is so young (20 1/2 months a the time), but she was asking me to sit on the potty from time to time and would even use it. After a day of disasters, I wanted to buy the biggest box of diapers I could find, but refrained after a bit of mental coaching from my mom. The next four days were a miracle...no accidents. I was clicking my heels for joy, but not all good things can last...regression set in. As of today, she has been doing very well. The occasional accidents happen from time to time, but at least it usually happens on the way to the potty...a little miscalculation can be forgiven.

Peace of Nature

All though the car ride was not peaceful, viewing Yellowstone's nature and scenery was at time breathtaking.

Trying It On For Size

Keira seems to have some kind of fixation with trying things on especially if it is mommy or daddy's.

Exotic Flowers

Jason works up at the school maintaining the grounds. He brought me home these flowers one day this summer. The school had ordered them from all over the world for graduation. They were beautiful.

Little Girls

My sister came to town when Hallie was blessed and took some amazing pictures of my girls.

Hallie's Blessing

Hallie was blessed on July 19th. I actually made her dress in one of my classes in school. I don't know why, but we didn't even take any pictures of just her in her dress...bummer.

Hallie

A few new pictures of hallie. as you can see if I hold Hallie keira has to be right there too.

4th of july parade

This is the 4th of july parade in rexburg. It was actually pretty fun this year. Keira was having a blast running to get candy and giving all of the miss Rexburg contestants hugs. We all got pretty sunburned because we forgot to bring sunscreen. We came home with a purse full of candy, it was great.
